Moshe (Kinley) Tur-Paz, was born in the U.S.A. where his parents were on an official mission. He grew up and was educated in Haifa and later on in Jerusalem. He is a graduate of the Yeshivah High School ‘Neve Shmuel’ in Efrat, the Hesder Yeshivah ‘Har Etzion’ in Alon Shvut and the Herzog Pedagogical College.

Moshe served as an officer in the Paratroop Corps and is now a Company Commander in the Reserves. In recent years he has been employed as an educator, the coordinator of Torah Shebaal Peh studies and on the board of management of ‘Pelech’ school in Jerusalem and as a lecturer in Midreshet Amit-Yeud. He teaches a course at Hebrew U. in Bible and Jewish Philosophy, as well as acting as a research assistant at the ‘Orion’ research centre of the Qumran Scrolls. He graduated with honours from Hebrew U. in Bible and Jewish Philosophy and is currently concluding his M.A. degree in the Philosophy of Chazal.

Moshe lives in Jerusalem and is married to Shlomit, nee Ravitski and is the father of Aviv and Asif.
